We are a collective of independent thinkers and former in-house Marketing professionals, supporting clients across a variety of services. Each In Situ project team is bespoke based on context, bringing together strategy, creative, and design to solve the right problem, at the right time.

Asking the question inside the question. Oftentimes, what we’re actually seeking is hidden inside the question that’s being asked out loud. Our job is to help uncover the questions–and answers–that live within the challenge to help solve multiple problems at once.

Maintaining the spirit of partnership.We don’t have the answers, yet, and we think that’s okay. Our job as your partner is to find the best path forward, not presume the solution. Because true partnership is about working in the mud together, and we love mud.

Meet Our Collective

  • Allison Fowler

    Founder & CEO

    Allison Fowler is a business leader, management consultant and Board Director with over two decades of experience building categories and brands. Her work as a Chief Marketing Officer has ranged from stoking growth of upstart brands like Perfect Snacks to portfolio management for blue chip companies like Kashi and Molson Coors, using a range of competencies stemming from classical CPG training to entrepreneurial grit and hustle.

  • Foram Nyberg

    Creative

    As a writer and creative, Foram brings strategy to life. Using culture- and empathy-driven narrative and storytelling, she’s led creative innovation and reinvention across categories including food, tech, and finance to help brands imagine futures and show up in a changing world.

  • Kristan Nolan

    Kristan has almost 20 years of production and operational leadership experience across agency, in-house and consulting roles, and has guided clients like Hilton, Kohler, Marvin and Nike through brand and product innovation, creative foundation development and operational transformation. A problem-solver by nature, she sees opportunity where others see roadblocks, and has a knack for navigating complexity and carving a path forward for teams, clients and partners from strategic planning through creative production. By leading with empathy and communicating with clarity, she builds strong relationships and trust, and translates big ideas into thoughtful actions.She is most energized by bringing big ideas and stories to life, and by connecting people and process in ways that make it easier for people to do their best work.

    Brand Management

    MacKenzie is a digital marketer with a focus on content, community and brand management in the health and wellness space. She has built and grown communities through social media at iconic brands like Perfect Snacks and Athletic Greens. With rich brand storytelling, timely and relevant content, MacKenzie creates a cohesive digital footprint with a consumer-first mindset.

  • Gordon McIntyre-Lee

    Gordon is a senior designer with two decades experience partnering with clients across healthcare, CPG, education, finance and hospitality. He has worked at Zeus Jones, Larsen, and Periscope and is currently taking projects independently. 

    Whether shepherding enterprise-wide brand reinvention or working hand-in-hand with startups to ensure success, his work is driven by a desire to meaningfully advance each client's business in ways that are beautiful, unexpected and enduring.​

    Strategist

    Ashleigh specializes in helping businesses, organizations, and non-profits accelerate their efforts in ecologically sustainable food production. Over her 19-year career, she's worked with a variety of partners such as Nestle Foods, General Mills, The Land Institute, Applegate, and Rain Bird. As a former dance professor turned brand and organizational strategist with a passion for regenerative processes, she leads with creativity, imagination, and empathy.

    Creative

    Natalie leverages design and strategy to help brands across categories channel the power of storytelling through design. In both design and consulting roles, she has led clients like Target, Facebook Workplace, Nike, and Nestle Wildscape through brand innovation and evolution informed by culture.

    Creative

    Jason works with visionaries to translate their ideas into the physical and digital world—to be experienced, celebrated, and loved by people. A strategic, multi-disciplinary director and designer with a diverse background and experience in various industries. Clients include: Google, Whole Foods, Tom Coliccho, KPCB, PepsiCo, Exo Protein, Bronx Brewery, Chobani and Tovala.
